Some people think material things are their prior pursuit in their work and lives. Others cherish other values rather than material possessions. As far as I am concerned, I valued my happiness over the material possessions because materialistic things does not necessarily leads to happiness.
Money can buy a lot of stuff, like a fancy car, a nice set of outfit, or a amazing gaming computer. Although these things are nice, one does not need them to feel happiness. People will worry about their possessions which then might lead to further frustrations. Like maintaining the car, getting angry that someone scratched it; or care too much about what others think of you. These might be important to someone else, but I am different. Think about it, life is hard enough with all the obstacles, with school and such. Why would I add on all these stress to my life, and not gaining much out of it? I could have an amazing time with going out with my friends, so why would I waste my time, getting jealous that some kid has a fancy outfit. It's meaningless.
In conclusion, my time in life are very valuable, and I plan to live a happy life. So I cherish my happiness over the material possessions that others might think otherwise.本回答被提问者采纳
