Recently, more and more people move to the city from country, urbanization has been a general trend. There are some benefits and disadvantages.
With regard to people who move into city, urbanization brings some convenience to them. Social services are more available in urban areas than rural; there are better opportunities of work, study, medical care and so forth because it is difficult to improve their standards of living in rural areas.
However, as we enjoy the convenience of urban lives, we also suffer some problems that urbanization brings to us. Among them, the environmental problem is one of most serious problems. The environment takes a beating. The explosion of city pollution causes harm to our natural environment, to obtain sufficient living space, urban residents sacrifices large areas of woods, fields and arable land to build roads and houses. It brings some water pollution and rubbish. Besides, with the increase of population of city, the rapid increase in the number of urban motor vehicles contributes to considerable pollution.
Therefore, the government should play an important role. The government should pay more attention to the problem urbanization brings and set out corresponding measures to solve the problems. In addition, the individual also care about the urbanization because it is influencing our lives.
