请教英语语法instead of 的用法问题Instead of 作为介词短语，后面接动词ing 形式，例如：You should encourage me instead of throwing cold water on me .
但是instead of 也要求并列的平行结构， 要求功能形式上前后一致，例如：i went to borrow a book instead of to buy one.
