at the end of在时间或地点的尽头
in the end of : in the end后面不能加of，表示最后，比如说一件事的最后等
on the end of表示在某个物品的端头，不如说在桌子的另一端头
at the beginning" implies a reference to a more specific point in time, where as "in the beginning" implies something occuring over a slightly longer period of time. They are often interchangeable, though.
