last week, i joined in a discussion on whether students should take part in school activities. about 40% of the students are very enthusiastic about the school activities, they have their reasons. however, 60%of the students are against the idea. they take little interest in it. i made a speech about the topic. i said: i prefer to take part in the school activities,on the one hand, we can learn a great deal from other students we meet in the activities. on the other hand, the modern society requires many qualities of young students, so "book worm" can't keep up with the times. furthermore, after long time's study, we can relax ourselves by participate in the school activities. our teacher made a high commont on my speech and most students agreed with me at last.
