but actually, no matter how good a teacher is, the key thing is to understand their students. a truly good teacher can turn a bad person into a person who actually think about their future. but a good teacher is definately not the one that mess up their students test scores.
of course theres different types of teachers, the the relaxed type, the test maniac ones and lots others with their own teaching methods.
what ever they do, they do it with the best intensions. understanding themselfs and understanding their students are the key things in success.
but the one you mention at the start. great work, helping the poor boy to screw up his test, wasting time and destroying peoples confidence. never seen anything like that.
afterward, i replied to him:"my dear friend, it doesn't really matter am i a teacher or not, what matters is that i understand you, i know what you want, whats your goal. you might think that you're like ugly duckling, but if you understand, trust me, you too, will one day spread your wings and fly as the beautiful swan!"
after reading my letter, he decided to do the exam again this year.
this years summer, he did it, he'll have all the congratulation he can get, feeling top of the world!
when he came online, he aske me that am i a teacher.
