什么是比较级和最高级`？

这个比较级和最高级是英语中的一个说法，主要通过这个单词的一种变化形式来实现意思上的一种变化，具体的咱们详细来说一下。

比较级用于两个人或事物之间的比较，表示“更……一些”。例如：

最高级用于三个或三个以上的人或事物之间的比较，表示“最……的一个”。例如：ThisisthemostinterestingbookIhaveeverread.（这是我读过的最有趣的书。）

比较级和最高级一般会在词尾加-er/-est，或在词前加more/most。那么，在什么情况下，应该在词尾加-er/-est，什么情况下，应该在词前加more/most呢？

在单音节形容词后面，或者以er，ow，ure，le结尾的双音节形容词直接加er，est或者r，st。

单音节词，如：small→smaller→smallest short→shorter→shortest
