a great amount of 的用法有哪些？

1、a great many 后直接接复数名词,动词用复数.用于肯定句中,相当于many,a large number of.

a great many后接可数名词复数,不加of.

如：I have a great many things to do.

如a great many后接代词时,则须加上of.例

如:A great many of them have seen the film.

2、amount用作名词

1）amount用于表示“量”“额”，如重量、金额等。
