Responsibilities:
Responsible for the assessment of the capacity and performance characteristics of the CDMA MTX product.
-Support design team for performance characterization, optimization and evaluation to ensure the product meets the overall release capacity/performance/OAM targets.
-Perform analysis to determine the impact of new/existing features on system capacity, memory, provisioning and/or performance.
-Verify capacity/performance in the lab to resolve development and integration problems and verify/validate impacts of new and/or existing features on real time targets.
-Collaborate with other wireless engineering teams to validate customer field capacity/performance and contribute to engineering guidelines (e.g., OM formulas, provisioning rules, etc.).
-Write, review and deliver the appropriate SE documents/tools (e.g. capacity/performance reports, capacity projection and memory provisioning tools).
-Participate in all project meetings with Design and/or PLM as required.
Requirements:
-Bachelor degree or above of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Operational Research (Masters or PhD would be an advantage from an analytical perspective)
-Extensive knowledge of wireless and data telecommunication networks is desired
-Strong analytical skills
-Mathematical modeling experience is an advantage
-Strong communication skills
-Familiarity with CDMA network and routing protocols
-Positive attitude and the strong desire to learn
