As a new swarm of intelligentsia steps out of the gate of universities, leaving the endless late nights and deluge of homeworks in the backview mirror, they are faced by a new issue at hand --- employment. Surprisingly, more and more graduates choose to apply for administration in rural towns and villages instead of searching for a job in the big city. When urbanization is so prevalent in a developing country such as China, this certainly comes striking. One of the reason may be in the fabric of Chinese perspective, power is elevated above all else, if you had power, you can have everything. Graduate students facing tremendous competition with thousands of others with higher academic degrees are less advantageous, so they may choose to go to rural towns, though the quality of life may not be on par with that of the urban city, they receive power and authority. This is inherent in all human, where we crave control over others. Another may be due to the conomic turmoil that's wreaking havoc in our society, as the economic storm swept over all world, many are left destitute and jobless, with the poorer households suffering the blunt. Many people were laid off or disemployed for cost-saving. But to a government administrator, this is not an issue. The government has enough money to maintain the positions of the administrators, so they will never have to worry about losing their jobs, this stability is made all the more attractive among many issues that plague our peregrination to job search. As this trend becomes more and more popular with graduates, it brings many issues as well. Graduate students are still fledgling in the real world compared to elders, thoug hthey may have better academic performance, they may not be able to cope with many problems in the real world, they lack pratical experience that elders have. In many cases, a local elder will better understand the chemistry of the town and better serve the community. So it is evident that oen should be prudent in hiring young graduates for town administrators.
