do/does 助动词用于一般现在时，does用在第三人称单数，
look意思是看，有实际意义的动词，look like是看起来怎样，暗含一直是怎样的意思，用一般现在时，mothers三单故用does.

look是动词 提问当然要用do的某种形式
what do/does sb look like某人长的什么样子
你所说的用be 应该是没有look 只是对like提问 而且like作为形容词“像。。。”使用
eg 。what is the moon like?
it's like a plate.
当like作为动词“喜欢”使用时 用do/does
