所谓简单句的结构只有五种：
主谓 He runs.
主谓宾 He drinks a cup of tea.
主谓双宾 He gives you a present.

i am a teacher, and he is a student.就对了。这个句子中的逗号当然可有可无。
一个句子，谓语动词确实只能有一个。但是，并列句还有各种从句，句子结构复杂了，句子套句子，那肯定就有好几谓语动词了。
再举一个例子。
i am andy,i am from USA.这也是不对的。
i am andy ,being from USA就对了。

嗯。一个句子只能有一个谓语动词，加一个谓语动词，加一个连词。如果没有连词，谓语动词则要用非谓语的方式出现。记住这个规律！
