英语单词是几种音形成

　　每个英语单词中必须含有一个以上的元音字母拼成一个音节以上的包括单音节在内的多音节词汇，例如最简单的单音节词I 和a 就是分别由单个基本元音字母自拼的两个单词，倘若单独写出只表示发音的字母组合“R U K”、“I M K”、“I C U”、“U R L”、“I O U”、“J O K”，那么它们便形成表意的英文短句“Are you Kay你是凯吗”、“I am Kay我是凯”、“I see you我看见你了”、“You are Elle你是埃拉”、“I owe you我欠你”、“Jay or Kay是捷或是凯”，所有短句中的每个单音词中必有元音。 而一般的多音节词如十一个字母组成的“complicated复杂”则由四个单独的元音构成了四个完整的单音节和三个辅音收音半音节，一共组成了近似于七个汉字音节

　　5大元音a e I/y o u：在重读开音节中读字母本音，对应的拼音是[ei] [yi] [ai] [ou] [iu]或[u]； 在重读闭音节中读短促的拼音[ai] [ei] [yi] [ao] [a]；在非重读音节中读[e]或[i]。

　　元音字母及组合如ai an ang ei en in ing ui iu 与对应的拼写相同的汉语拼音发音基本一致。，某些元音字母组合如on un ung 对应的汉语拼音为 [ong] [an] [ang]。

　　还有些英语自身特有的元音字母组合有其特定的汉语拼音发音：

　　uy/ay/ie/ig/igh [ai] buy, gay, die,

　　lie, sign, light, high

　　21个辅音中的b p m f d t n l g k h z c s r y w发音基本上与字母相同的汉语拼音近似；其它4个字母j q x v对应的拼音是[zh] [k] [ks] [w]。
