The most important holiday for the Chinese is the Chinese New Year，also called the Spring Festival. During the festival period，everyone goes back to their hometown and spends several days with family，and people hold many celebrations. Beijing has several fairs during the period. The fairs are held at various ancient temples，so they are called "temple fairs." 大年初一，爸爸妈妈带我去逛北京朝阳公园的庙会。
我们到达朝阳公园，只见大门口彩旗飘飘，有很多羊的塑像。我还与一只胖胖的小羊合了影。我们随着人流进入公园。哇！里面装饰了各种各样的风车，到处都是欢乐的人们。有的人在玩风车，有的人在看演出，有的人在品尝各种风味小吃，还有的人在参加各种游戏活动。
我和爸爸、妈妈来到游戏区，那里有很多很多的游戏设施。我看见一个充满空气的很高的金字塔攀岩模型，一些小孩子正在往金字塔顶爬。有个女孩在金字塔的上半部吓得哭喊着叫“爸爸”，她的鞋子也脱落了，是一个叔叔把她救了下来。我们路过有奖打气球的摊位，爸爸打了10枪，打中8个气球，还得了奖品。
我觉得自旋滑车挺好玩的，就让爸爸带我去玩。爸爸买好票，我们排队等了一段时间，才坐上滑车。我们上车系好安全带，滑车先是嘎嘎嘎地往空中攀升，妈妈还给我们照了相。我一开始还觉得挺好玩的，谁知到了空中后，滑车就猛烈地旋转起来，一会儿向左转，一会儿又猛地向右转，一会儿爬到高空又猛地滑落到低空。吓得我脸色苍白，魂都丢了。爸爸不断地安慰我，滑车偶尔也停顿一会儿，我才不害怕了。自旋滑车终于到终点了，我觉得真惊险。
然后，爸爸、妈妈和我又去玩碰碰车。我想自己开一辆碰碰车，爸爸问一个叔叔：“脚底下的踏板是干什么用的？”原来是充电的。我太小够不着踏板，于是，就坐到爸爸的碰碰车上。我让爸爸与妈妈的车碰，可是，不是与这个叔叔碰，就是与那个阿姨碰，可怎么都碰不到妈妈的车。我想：“这车可真讨厌，怎么就不跟妈妈的车碰呢？要是坐另外一辆车就好了。”我看见妈妈的车老在外面打转，怎么也开不到中间。我和爸爸的车有时也会撞到栏杆上。我觉得还没有玩好，时间就到了，我和爸爸只好下了碰碰车。
我们还观看了弹射飞人的游戏。有个小女孩被弹到空中后，吓得哭着叫“爸爸”呢。有个小男孩被弹到高空后，翻了个跟头，他都不害怕。我觉得他真勇敢！
妈妈老要回家，我和爸爸正打算回家，看到舞台上正演出木偶剧《小红帽》。很多大人带着他们的孩子看，爸爸就让我坐在他的肩膀上看演出。小红帽把外婆家的情况都告诉了大灰狼，结果，大灰狼把外婆和小红帽都吃掉了。我们可不能学小红帽，把什么都告诉别人。
看完木偶剧，我又和一个小丑照了相，就回家了。今天，我玩得真高兴！
