　　hair 可用作可数或不可数名词，用作可数名词时，指一根一根的毛发或头发，如说 There’s a hair in my soup (我的汤里有根头发)；用作不可数名词（集合名词）时，则是整体地指一个人的头发。比较：

　　He hasn’t got much brains. 他没什么头脑。
　　He took much pains to do the work. 他费了不少心做这工作。
　　I said I wouldn’t want much wages. 我说过我不要很多工资。
