谓语动词用单数还是复数？
People后面两个都可以用嘛？
那surroundings这个单词是否也是这样
people 1.译为人、人们时谓语动词用复数

2. 表示“民族”时，为可数名词，其前可用不定冠词，也可有复数形式，有时甚至还可以与数词连用。We Chinese are a hardworking people. 我们中国人是勤劳的人民。
surroundings 与people不同，surroundings 译为环境 相当于environment追问

People 当人们讲时，谓语用复数 。当名族讲时 谓语用单数 。
People were dancing in the street. I met all sorts of people.
人们在街上跳舞。我遇到了各种各样的人。
