And as he did, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL.
3. So Goha thought and thought and in the end he made a decision. He decided that he would build two storeys, but he would sell the upper floor, and live on the ground floor. The house would be complete, a real house of two storeys that would be magnificently decorated. But he would not have to pay for the second storey, and his wife would not have to clean empty rooms.
4. When we finished talking, I went into my briefcase and pulled out the first gold medal I won for power lifting and put it around his neck. I told him he was more of a winner and knew more about success and overcoming obstacles than I ever would. He looked at it for a moment, then took it off and handed it back to me. He said, “Rick, you are a champion. You earned that medal. Someday, when I get to the Olympics, I will become your rival. And when I win my gold medal, I will show it to you.”
