用There be句型写people是用There are还是There is

people 是单复数同型的名词, 系动词可以用 are 也可以用 is

如: There are many people watching TV on the playground.

There is only one people on the playground.

但是, 通常都用 There are some people ........... 而不用 there is

there is a people 这种用法, 很不常见, 所以中学教材里面, 都规定 people 为复数, 即: there are some people.
如果用单数表示的话, 最好用 person , 即: There is a person .........
