prefer后可接to do; n.; doing
（强调一下：后半部分可以不用的，当然意思就不一样了）
1. prefer sth to sth
I prefer football to basketball(与篮球相比，我更喜欢足球）
2. prefer doing to doing
I prefer playing football to playing basketball.(与打篮球相比，我更喜欢踢足球）
3. prefer to do rather than do
=would rather do than do = would do rather than do（宁愿做……而不愿做……）
I prefer to play football rather than play basketball.(我宁愿踢足球也不愿打篮球）

这里的to不是不定式符号，而是介词。介词+V-ing
prefer sb to do sth （宁愿某人做某事）
prefer sth to sth ———— prefer doing to doing（喜欢……胜过……/宁愿做……而不愿做……）
prefer to do sth rather than than do sth（宁愿做……而不愿做……）
prefer sb to do sth （宁愿某人做某事）
