2.be made up of 是指"由......构成,组成的" 比如The group is made of five students. The company is made up of ten departments.
3.be made from 翻译出来也是"由......(材料)做的"但是这个材料是经过一系列的变化才变成另一样东西,也就是原材料是看不出来的.比如The paper is made from wood.

they all have the same meaning . it has nothing to do with whether the material is easy to be seen or detected .trying to 画蛇添足, only confuses you more.

桌子是用木头做的，The desk is made of wood.因为我们一眼就能看出来桌子是木制的所以用be made of
纸是用树叶和木头做的，The paper is made from leaves and wood. 我们虽然知道纸是用树叶和木头做的，但那是老师告诉的，我们用肉眼很难一眼就看出它的原材料是树叶和木头，故用be made from。
