请教高手：海到尽头天是岸，山至高处人为峰, 英语怎么翻译好？

非直译，保留原句对仗的修辞法（此句出自张大千赠友人题词），重在强调天外有天人外有人的境界

这还不顺口？对仗又押韵，音节两句基本相等，多么有莎士比亚十四行诗的风韵。哎，你要求也太高了。如果再好一点我觉得peak变成pea就好了，完全押韵了，可是意思就拧吧了。
尝试另一种说法：
Like the sky contouring the sea on the joint,
The man standing atop marks the pinnacle point.

或者是：
Like the sky contouring the sea,
The pinnacle is marked by thee.
(或者The pinnacle of the mountain is marked by thee.)
把原句换成了山高你为峰，略有改动，但也符合张大千题赠友人的情境，这个有点像丰子恺画画送人上面题个“不畏浮云遮望眼，只缘身在最高峰”，都有夸赞友人的意思，不过中国人比较含蓄，一般不直接夸人说“君”或“你”怎么怎么样，英语就直白一些，莎士比亚赠友人诗就很喜欢最后一个词落在thee上。另外sea/thee韵脚比joint/point要好，所以这个翻译是我比较喜欢的。
