形容词和副词都有3个级:原级、比较级和最高级，例：如good-better-best
a.规则的形容词、副词的后面加上er或est
b.重读闭音节的形容词和副词的比较级和最高级，双写最后一个辅音字母，然后再加er、est

c.以y结尾的形容词和副词变比较级时去掉y，加上ier，最高级时去掉y，加上iest

d.以不发音的e结尾，比较级和最高级在词尾后面分别加上r、st
