When I got home, my mother had cooked supper. But it was rice and chicken again. “Don’t make chicken any more. I hate it.” After saying these words, I went into my room. While I sat at my desk, a voice inside me said, “You are polite to a stranger, but you are rude to the mother you love.” At this time, I felt very sorry and tears began to run down my cheeks. I quickly went to my mother and said sorry to her.
“That’s all right. Come to dinner, honey. I have made a different dinner for you,” said my mother.
