difficult 一类表示事物特征的形容词后应该用 for sb. 。 for sb. 和 to sb. 都可以表示“对某人”，但是用法不同。解析如下。
1、for sb. 表示主语（事物）的特征的对象是某人，如：
It is difficult for him. 对他来说是困难的。
I think it easy for you. 我认为对你来说很容易。
You opinion is hard for me. 你的意见对我来说是难以忍受的。
这种结构可以看做是不定式的复合结构 for sb. to do sth. 的省略。其中，介词短语 for 的宾语 sb. 是不定式的逻辑主语，常常跟在形容词后表示“某人做某事会出现什么样的情况特征”，如：

有一个句型是It is +形容词+for sb. to do sth.的，意思是“对某人来说做、、是怎么怎么样的” 如果是这个，那就是for啦~
也有 It's difficult to do sth ，做什么什么事儿是困难的~
也就是说如果后面+人 一般是fro sb 如果加事儿 一般是to do
也有 It's difficult to do sth ，做什么什么事儿是困难的~
