check和bill都是付账、买单的意思：
其中，check 就是“结帐”的意思，另外也可以说 buy the bill，就是中文里的“埋单”。其实“埋单”是个地道的粤语词来的，只不过讲的人多了，就成了普通话的一分子了。因此，这两个词在欧美国家用于付账，都是很地道的，喜欢说哪个就可以说哪个。
1 惯用口语句子：
Could I have the check, please?
= Can I have the bill, please?
= Would you please bring me the check?
2 请给我账单，好吗？
check n. （餐厅的）账单，发票
Bill, please.
= Check. please.
3 请结账。
It's on me.
= Let me get it.
= Let me take care of it.
= Let me have the check/bill.
