The May 4th Movement which aimed at saving China brought the emancipation of thousands of people's mind. It played a huge role of enlightenment. When this movement gradually calmed down from active surge, some people returned to their original life orbit; however, the other advanced people turned to have deeper exploration. They also gathered with some like-minded friends to become new groups. Marxism became its main stream.
