AVC(平均可变成本)曲线为什么是u型的?

The AVC declines because of the benefits of labor specialization. Adding workers to a small workforce makes workers more productive on average, so the amount of labor required per unit output drops, pushing down the average variable cost. In contrast, for large quantites of output, average variable cost rises as output increases because of diminishing returns. Adding workers to a large workforce makes workers less productive on average, pulling up the average variable cost. The AVC curve is negatively sloped for small quantites, but positively sloped for large quantaties.
