为什么用that followed,而不可以用following，把following看成非谓语动词难道不可以吗？非谓语动词不是可以做定语。

楼主有个地方搞错了
非谓语动词还是用动词的意思 所以 during the days following 里面DAYS去FOLLOW什么在这里是翻译不通的~
如果是during the days i travelling ,he worked as a servant at the Browns就可以了
所以要么把following看成形容词 the following days 要么就用答案里的the days that followed

如果用following，应该是during the following days.

因为这样的动词没有你说的那种用法
其实答案还可以省略that
直接填followed
