目前我国的二手车评估体系还处于初始状态，国内整个二手车鉴定评估行业还没有一套科学、统一、严谨的鉴定评估方法和评估理论。
本文作者通过二手车市场的实地调研，并结合自己在4S点实习的经验，查阅大量书籍资料，了解国内外二手车市场发展现状，通过对比获得很多有价值的资料和数据，经过认真分析后发现，目前我国二手车市场于国外成熟的二手车市场尚存有很大的差距，二手车的技术鉴定缺少实用的标准规范，价格评估缺乏有效的计算方法，交易制度不能保障消费者的实际利益，不能保证顾客公平公正的购买车辆和顾客公平合理的出售二手车。为此，本文通过分析二手车的鉴定评估理论和评估方法，并结合市场行情，针对二手车评估目的当中的变动二手车产权转移经济行为这一方面来进行二手车评估方法的研究。然后，面对二手车中的事故车、更新换代车、冷门车型等车价不好掌握的问题应用自己实习研究出来的方法，对这几种车型的二手车价格进行实例分析。
