Global Warming
During the last thirty years, the economy of the world has increased sharply, so it is the same with the temperature. Global warming is an extremely serious problem facing the world today.
As we all know that there is atmosphere around the earth, which is mainly composed of nitrogen and carbon dioxide. More and more carbon dioxide from burning the coal and oil is discharged into the air every year. The carbon dioxide can absorb the heat from the earth. The more carbon dioxide in the air, the more heat it will absorb, and the warmer the earth will be.
Since the industrial revolution, coal and fossil oil have begun wildly used. However, that kind of energy will produce plenty of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor and so on. That’s may be one of the reasons causes the earth to be warmer. Ruining the forest is also accelerating the process of the global warming.
If we still turn a blind eye to it, we and our offspring will be punished by nature. Actually, we have been punished by the nature now. The rainstorm in China in 1998 caused hundreds of millions financial loss and millions of homeless. The ice damage caused by the La Nina in 2008 let several millions trapped in the train during the Spring Festival. The hurricane in New Orleans in 2005 forced several million people to shift. What’s worse, couples of them died. Ecologist says because of global warming there are more and more coral will die. The inland country will be drier because of the El Ni�0�9o. The storms and hurricane will be a common occurrence in the future. In addition, the warming climate is more suitable for the virus to propagate. And some of the viruses freeze into the ice millions years ago may recover.
In the recent past the IPCC projected a sea level rise of 6 inches to 37 inches by 2100. On March 24, 2006 researchers said in a report in the Journal Science that accelerating meltdown of Antarctic and Arctic ice, along with melting Greenland glaciers will increase sea level rise perhaps by more than 3 feet. The scientists say that anticipated Arctic warming of 4 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100, will be at least as warm as it was 130,000 years, when sea level was 20 feet higher. Thus, cities like New York，London，Hong Kong，Shanghai and entire countries like Holland will disappear forever.
Global warming is a world problem. It needs all of us to work together to deal with. On December 11, 1997, the Kyoto Protocol was proposed. It requires the United States, the European Union and Japan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (below 1990 levels) by 7%, 8% and 6%, respectively, by the year 2010.In 2002, Chinese and Russia government ratified it. On the other hand, we should cut the energy use or make it cycle used, such as use efficient appliances and promote community carpooling. If the destination is not that far and we are not in a hurry, why not go there by bicycle or walk to there, it is good for our health. To execute the family planning plan is also a good way to prevent global warming. The carbon dioxide is mainly absorbed by the forest，thus，in order to control the global warming, we should protect every forest from now. But the most important thing we should do is to try our best to exploit and popularize the clean energy, such as the solar and wind energy, they are inexhaustible. It’s a bit late feeling regretful after our home is completely ruined.

Recently,global warming has become a hot topic among people. It results from serious airpollution.
