by the end of用于将来时，at the end of用于一般过去或现在时态，两者的区别为：读音不同、中文意思不同、用法不同

三、用法不同

1、by the end of 仅指时间，指某一动作在某时间点以前或到某一时间段为止就已发生或完成，多用于过去完成时。若后面接的是将来时间，句子要用将来时态。
