只有thousand 和thousands of,两种使用情况
当前面有具体数字时,就用thousand ,不能加s.也不与of连接.200=two thousand.
当后与of连接,就用thousands,s是必须要加的.也不与具体数字搭配.thousands of 数以千计的,成千上万的.

不过有时候也可以当作短语，比较少见，
