根据图1.1,我们可以看出,在任何一种人群里都普遍回答了听说过转基因食品。只有不到3个人说他们只听说过转基因动物,细胞,没有听说过转基因的食物。但是当我们询问其是否接受过正规的转基因食品教育的时候,答案随着人群不同有着巨大的差异。在低于30岁的人群中,所有的人都回答了YES,而30岁以上的只有不到4分之一的人说他们学过这方面的知识。而其中50岁以上回答YES的只有一人。此外,有%65的人选择了他们还是太明白转基因食品的制造过程,对这一知识存在着一定的困惑。
除了对认知情况进行调查外,我们还进行了人们与转基因食品接触的情况。从图1.2中,清晰的显示了人们的接触情况,只有不到%32的人吃过转基因食品,其中%3的人经常食用,%88的人吃过一些,剩下的只是偶尔吃过一两次。75%的人认为市场上出售的转基因食品很多,%18的认为并不多,而%7的人觉得没怎么见过。
