英语词汇问题:prepare to和prepare for 有什么区别?

这个问题我会，虽然本人英语口语不是很好，但是对英语四六级词汇还是很熟悉的~给大家总结了一个表格可以先粗略看一下：

【含义】

1、prepare to：英[prɪˈpeə(r)tu]，美[prɪˈpertu]

释义：准备;

to是不定式，无实意。

2、prepare for：英[prɪˈpeə(r)fɔː(r)]，美[prɪˈperfɔːr]

释义：准备;为…作准备;为…做准备;

for是介词，后跟名词或动名词。

【用法】

1、prepare to do sth的意思是“准备做某事”，这里的to作为动词不定式来使用，所以后面的动词用原形。

例句：He was prepared to leave the country.他打算离开这个国家。

例句：They were prepared to pay the price.他们准备付出这个代价。

2、prepare用作不及物动词时，其后可接for，即prepare for doing sth的意思是“为什么做准备”。

例句：Father say I may enter a university, so I think I will prepare for the entrance examination.父亲说我可以上大学，因此我认为我要准备入学考试。

例句：The teacher urged his students to prepare for the exam.老师劝他的学生准备考试。
