一般局域网用的都是私有地址，你所设置的192.168.就是内部私有地址，属于C段（你可以去学下IP地址）
C段的默认子网掩码为255.255.255.0，这是标准子网，标准子网的IP地址数为0---255，就是256个IP地址，去掉一个主机占有位和广播地址位，可以使用的IP就是254个，你的192.168.11.66,子网掩码为255.255.255.0的可用IP就是192.168.11.1-192.168.11.254，你可以发现你要将网关设置成192.168.0.11根本不通，因为网关根本不在这个IP段中
此时你使用B类掩码255.255.0.0，可用主机就相当多了，而使用B类掩码，就包含了所有192.168.X.X了，自然192.168.11.66

但是你有没有发现实际应用中，很少有人这么设置？这是因为，一旦将子网掩码扩大后，主机数就变的非常非常多，这容易引起网络广播风暴等，还有安全问题。

掩码是24位的，所以前三段必须一样，即网关必须为192.68.11.1-192.168.1.254中的一个

子网掩码是255.255.0.0的话只要前两段一样就是一个子网了，255.255.255.0就必须前三段一样。本回答被网友采纳

可以但不建议，可以改成255.255.242.0这样不至于范围过大.
