Success is obviously an high-frequency word in our daily life. "The Road to Success" or "10 Points of Being Successful" was often choosen to named a training program. It seemed that there was always a voice emphasizing on my growing : "You should work hard so that after graduate what waiting for you is great job. And after getting a good job you should earn your first millions. driving BMW or sitting in the first-class cabin."
So I worked hard to achieve that goal. One day mum suggested me to go abroad after undergraduate to live a better life.
"Don't worry about us, we will just move into the home for the aged" mum said peacefully.
The word striked me as a belling ringing in my head. So I began to rethink of the plan. Am I too self-centered? Am I too impulsive? For years I just concerned about my own career and had ignored too much of the people around me.
Actually the word "Parents" usually referd to "Boring". When I was a kid. Dad bought me colorful pencil. But instead I hold my art exhibition on the kitchen's wall. Countless times they invited me for a walk but I just concentrated on my computer game and refused with"No,I have a lot of homework". And sometimes they cooked nice dishes for me but just got a call which said I went dinner with firends.
How many times I broke their heart but they never mind. So in the rest of my life I decided to pay back. I won't let them go to the home for aged. They just have only one son. Less salary is ok, no car is ok, cabined home is also ok. I would choose to live in the same city. So they could watch grandson's growing day after day. We would have family dinner,family meeting or family walk.
Maybe everybody has different understanding of success. For me family is of course the key to happiness in life.
