是need not to do sth还是not need to do sth

need not to do 是错误的。need 有两种用法，一是做实义动词用；另一个是做情态动词用，具体如下所示：
1、 实义动词：
肯定句式：need to do sth
如： we need to go．
否定句式：do／does not need to do sth．
如：we don’t need to go．

2． 情态动词。通常用在否定句当中：
即，needn’t do sth．
如： we needn’t go.
