teach（v.）
eg.He teaches them English.在这个例句里，teach是作及物动词的“教,讲授”解，所以不需要teach sth. to sb.
He will teach a lesson for me.他将代我教一节课。
**** for是替某人做某事/为了某人做某事的意思。

buy（v.）
用钱买 ~sb. sth. 或~sth.for sb.
eg.He bought me a new coat.
He bought a new coat for me.
字典当中只有提到FOR的用法；

give（v.）
交给、提供、赠送~sb. sth. 或~sth.to sb.
eg.Give the letter to your mum.
Give your mum the letter.
只有~sth. for sth的用法,意为支付、付出：I'd give anything to see him again.

tell（v.）
~sb. sth. 或~sth.to sb.
eg.He told the news to everybody.
He told everybody the news.
如果可能用for的话，表达的意思和teach里的一样，如：He told his own secret for Anne.他为了Anne而说出自己的秘密。

keep(v.)
为某人保留~sb. sth. 或~sth.for sb.
eg.Please keep a seat for me.
Please keep me a seat.
TO只有以下三个用法：
1.keep to sth.不偏离，不离开
eg.She mostly keeps to her room.她大部分时候都呆在房间里。
2.keep（oneself）to oneself不喜欢与人来往
eg.He keeps himself very much to himself.
3.keep sth. to yourself保守秘密
eg.I'd be grateful if you keep this secret to yourself.
