stop sb. doing sth.，阻止某人做某事；
stop sb. from doing sth.，阻止某人做某事。

stop to do和stop doing的区别
解答：stop to do 停止，中断做某事后去做另一件事。
stop doing 停止做某事。
They stop to smoke a cigarette. 他们停下来，抽了根烟。

stop sb (from) doing sth 表示阻止某人做某事。。from可以省啊。 prevent sb (from) doing sth.也是这样用的 而 keep sb doing sth 表示让某人一直做某事 keep sb from doing sth 才表示阻止默认做某事
